could be the frt seal in the p/s pump. could be the p/s rack leaking, could be the p/s hoses..

pull the little tube in the p/s rack dust boot see if oil comes out, if it does the p's rack is leaking
put your finger below the p/s pump pulley if there is any indication of fluid, the p/s pump is leaking

How bad is it leaking, Fast as in it will be empty in a few days.. or slow?

if its slow to mild, get the Lucas power steering stop leak.. amazing stuff

it takes a couple of days to leak but it only leaks to the top lines and dosent go any farther so i know its one of those lines but its hard to tell because it gets on the belt then prays on the hood and everywhere else so thats why its so hard to find, but ill give the lucas stop leak a shot! thanks

Actually Lucas PS treatment is pretty good stuff.

And Using a UV dye on a leak like that doesn't always work out as well as one might think. Besides, he already has it apart.

for the OP, if you've already got it apart, and can't pinpoint the problem, it might be easier to just start replacing all the possible culprits.

so do you think the lucas stop leak will work? because ive already put it back to gether, but some people are saying it could be the high presure line which is $108 or its the p/s pump its self which is $160 so ill try the stop leak first and then go on i guess.
