Power Steering Fluid alternatives to genuine Honda brand?
I know it says (on my 93 Accord ex) to use only genuine Honda brand power steering fluid, but is there another brand that can be used? Like if I can't get to the Honda dealership, is there a generic brand maybe at autozone that I could use?

Advance Auto Parts has their own brand that is specific to Hondas only. I used that for my new steering rack. I think it is like 3 or 4 bucks cheaper than at the dealer.

I couldn't find anything on Advance's website that was cheaper, but I found one at autozone for $4.59 and walmart has the prestone Honda/Acura brand for $2.58 but the closest one is 8 miles away

My parts guy must like me. I picked up a case (12 bottles) for 36 bucks at the dealer. He also told me the howling power steering on the Pilot's was a couple of o-rings not the pump.

I've been using NAPA branded fluid (meant for Honda/Acura), no issues.
It's almost as expensive as genuine OEM though. $5/pint.
