Possible reasons why the cabin smells like gasoline
Wanted to know possible reasons why the cabin of my Accord smells like gasoline? Every time I drive the car, the smell of gas will get absorbed by my clothes! Any ideas?
Thanks!

Or a rusty fuel line leak in the rear somewhere coming out of the tank and heading towards the front of the car, like in the area under the filler neck. I had one of those (fixed with 6" of new line flare-fitted to the good part of the old line)

You may want a mechanic do the actual repair but before deciding upon the repair you can check for fuel leaks.
Fuel lines run on the outside of the car under the left side of the floor. At the rear fuel lines are protected by a plastic cover that can be removed. The tank filler pipe can be checked if you remove the left side panel in the trunk.
You don't have to start the engine: just turn the key to II (dashboard oil and battery check light) to let the fuel pump work.

is there any fuel leak by the injectors? i had one of my injectors leaking on me and even though i did not turn on any fans, gasoline still made its way into the cabin. shine some light by the fuel rail and turn the ignition to II to see if fuel leaks when fuel pump is turned on.

I did further reading and it might also be that lazy O2 sensor. I'm still conducting Muffinman's mpg test recommendation. In the mean time everything is starting to come together, poor mpg, faint gasoline smell in the cabin, just need the actual mpg results before I move in to replace the O2 sensor.

Eh, if you run a test pipe or have a pre-cat leak it definitely smells like gas.
The worst was when all 3 bolts on my 2 piece header had backed out an left me with an open DP. Smelled bad, rattled horrible, and was loud as sin.

Well that one was the nuts on the bolts had backed out completely off the bolt haha. I hadn't used any thread-lock stuff. It was actually scary when it happened, it was literally hanging by a thread with no nuts on the bolts.
The issue I had below the car was a ripped up flex pipe from scraping (being too low)
