Default dc headers ceramic or stainless?

which headers are better overall
also any mod recmendations for a f22a4 internals cam ext. drop some info on me peoples

Stainless is just for looks really, I would go with ceramic and the coating is supposed to aid in retaining heat.

the ceramic is to help prevent rust as well.

I've heard that the ceramic headers are prone to cracking more so than the stainless steel ones.As far as retaining heat,you could always use heat wraps with stainless steel headers.

OE EX HEADER FTW!!!! really if this car is going to be your dd, just do ex header, cheap and effective!!

You couldn't be more wrong. The SS will last alot longer. If you want the thermal advantages of teh ceramic coating just send it out to Jet Hot or another company of the same. The reason the ceramic one is cheap to begin with is its made from mild-steel, if its not coated it will coroed really fast. That is why the ceramic headers crack, its a cheaper steel that there made from.

If you can afford it go with the stainless steel its a much better header. That is also why every top header maker in the country uses SS because its stronger.
