Need help identifying this part.
I was told that it is the IACV, but I am not sure as no manuals I have looked at say what it is, and no parts stores knew what it was..
It's an 1989 Honda Accord, 5 speed, A20A1, 2bbl carb.
I would appreciate it if someone would help me out with this.

Re: Need help identifying this part.
That looks to be part of the carburetors air vent cut off diaphragm/carb thermovalve.
If you are looking for that specific part for an 89, it is labelled as the SHED diaphragm set and it is Honda part number 16044-PH4-662.
Didn't you have a picture of the actual part up earlier? If you did can you post that back up?

Here is the picture of it on the car, with the diaphragm cover off.

OK , I just wanted to make sure that you weren't looking at the other side of the carb, the choke assembly. That item is the air vent cut off diaphragm & carb thermovalve. The AVCO diaphragm is the top part and the CT valve is the bottom portion.
