I have noticed recently that no matter what mode I select, air comes out of the side front (so drivers and passenger sides) vents. This is an issue only because when the defrost is on, barely any air comes out the defrost vents on the sides, only from the front vents. The central vents switch just fine. My solution thus far has been to close the side vents. All i really need is a diagram or something of the sort of the HVAC doors / vents. I looked under and all the door mechanisms are intact, nothing is broken or hanging off. However, without a way of knowing what I am looking for, I really can't do much.

Also I'm not certain if this is supposed to happen, or not. The reason I'm guessing not is because when its on feet only, it still comes out full force from the side vents. And just to be clear, all the other vents are switching on and off just fine.

Welp I found a FSM online literally just after posting this...
Strange considering i spent a good 2-4 hours searching before.

UPDATE the FSM shows the air always coming out the side vents, im guessing my defroster door is not opening fully? Only thing i can think of...

My center vents wont blow any air only from the left driver side & the passenger side. Dont know what the problem is. Any advice in what it could be ?
