Default moonroof switch not illuminated

I have a 2002 Accord 4DR with a moonroof switch that is not illuminated. I think the wiring harness is damaged, so was wondering what wires are the ones that supply power to the switch to light up at night?

I've searched and it seems the black wire is the ground, and red/black and red wires are the actual wires for the illumination, so I tapped the same color wires on the foglight switch to get the switch to illuminate, but still doesn't. The foglight switch lights up when the headlights are on.

Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Did you check the bulb?

the switch seems fine. It's a switch with a LED, so bulb is not the issue.

any wires that need to be correctly connected besides the black, red/black, and red to make it light up again?

They used LED's in those? I don't think so... I just had my cruise/sunroof switch open and it was definitely a filament old school bulb

Definitely the tiny $1.50 bulbs only available at the dealer. No LEDs in there.

ok, now this might sound stupid, but how do you pry open the switch to replace the bulb? Since no one is commenting on the wiring, I assume that's correctly connected.

The problem is I used a Honda switch and wiring harness from the switch and connected it to a non- Honda moonroof. so I was more concerned with the correct wiring. I'll search and check on the bulb. Thanks.

For 5th gens it's a single screw then 4 little clips on the sides looking from the back.

The button pops out from the front.
