Ok, heres something you can do:

Have a friend to idle the engine at like 1000
One by one pull the spark wires up. If the engine tone and rhythm changes, its not that one. If you pull the wire and nothing changes, probably that plug. Also, just by lookin at the plug youcan determine whats wrong.

Misfires are quite difficult to diagnos... Their causes are varied. And if it is intermittent, you sometimes can't even find the cause.

Is it a steady misfire???? Meaning is your idle all wonky and you got no performance???

Here are some suggestions.

1. pull the spark plugs on those cylinders. What do they look like? If you feel they are shot, replace them.

2. inspect the plug wires. Measure the resistance between the ends (should be above 8000 ohms.

3. Check if your injectors are buzzing when the engine is running. A dead injector will cause a misfire. If you have a multimeter, check the voltage also.

4. Check if the plug is actually firing.

buy a spark tester (or use a timing light) and verify spark on all four cylinders

inspect spark plugs...misfiring one may look different, also a mis-gapped or fouled plug could be at fault.

if it's not something like plugs/cap/rotor or a faulty injector or injector resistor, then run a compression test and do a valve adjustment.

A common problem on the accord motors is the EGR ports get carboned up which causes a lean condition on one or more cylinders. The spark plugs would show this. Cleaning the egr ports is much easier on 94+ Accords since there is a simple cover plate to remove.

First of SeaFoam, SeaFoam, SeaFoam

and that said where is this cover plate, i'll have to dig around just because i'm desperate for every bit of gas mileage
