Miles before changing timing belt

Miles before changing timing belt
I just bought a 98 Honda Accord LX with 140+k miles. And recently I heard back from the seller that he had changed his timing belt at around 120k+- ; my question is, I shouldn't need to change the timing belt yet, correct?
How many miles does a typical timing belt lasts (very conservatively speaking) to be on the safe side?
Thanks.

Re: Miles before changing timing belt
honda belts last a pretty long time, can't say the same for other cars
you could take off the upper timing belt cover and take a look at the condition of the belt and check for excess slack

I would for sure inspect it and see what condition its in. It will be plain as day if its a belt w/ 20k miles on it
