Default JDM F22B2 Turbo Build advice/help ENGINE PICS!

So I recently decided N/A isn't going to fit my budget, I live in California regardless of these stupid smog rules I'm going turbo anyways. Basically I splurged yesterday & bought this super clean JDM F22b2 for 675$ I mean this motor has got to have around 30-40k anyways.. so far I've bought the turbo manifold & some other misc parts for it. this motor will not be smogged (when smog issue arises I'll swap my other motor in it to get it smogged then swap back to my turbo setup).

Questions

1. is 265 HP too much for this motor stock?, I'm looking for at least 100k out of it you know normal driving punch it here & there no real abuse.

2. Since smog is not an issue or any inspection & the car will be tuned what things can I delete off of the engine EGR ect.. things that won't matter once the engines tuned.

3. My manifold states only for t3 t4 turbo, can someone point me to a decent turbo that won't break and get sucked into my motor I was thinking a WRX turbo or a turbo off the Ralliart?

4. what other upgrades should I make I know I should invest in ARP studs for the engine what else?

5. will this JDM motor from japan connect up with my existing harness it is OBD1 engine & my car is OBD2 1997 accord 5 speed LX

I'll include pics below.

What kind of turbo are you running, and at what psi?

1. No. 265 isn't too much. No idea where you got that number from. 300-350 is easily and reliably doable with a good tune.

2. EGR. EVAP canister. Replace factory PCV system with a good catch can.

3. Do your own research. Don't try to reinvent the wheel on your first turbo build since you obviously have a large amount to learn. The turbos you stated will usually have oddball flanges and require more custom work. You have a 2.2L, not a dinky little 1.6L. You can get away with a 50 trim if you want down low grunt or something more along the lines of a 57 or 60 trim if you want greater peak power potential. I can tell you that when you're rowing through the gears in a straight line you'll appreciate something that breathes up high since that's mainly where your rpm will be. Many aftermarket turbo manufacturers make turbos suitable for your goal that fit better right out of the box instead of trying to make something work that came off another car. I still have no idea why people do this.

4. ARP headstuds, new gaskets, timing belt. Do a compression test to make sure the motor is healthy before you even consider boosting it. Balance shaft delete kit wouldn't be a bad idea if you want some extra oil pressure. Upgraded valve springs are not a bad idea either. If you want more top end pull do an F23 intake manifold swap, the stock F22 intake manifold is complete garbage. You'll need better engine mounts, suspension and brakes to handle the extra power that your car was never designed for. Factor in a clutch, upgraded fuel system and engine management as well.

5. Do your own research.
