Dash Lights, Cluster Lights, Tail & Fog Lights are gone
Installed a cheap $80 sony cd player the other day in my '97 accord lx. I clipped off the harness connector supplied from the car and spliced in the harness that came with the new cd player. Hooked up all wires except the wire labeled "dimmer" supplied by the car, I figured this wire wouldn't apply to my new player.
After I put everything all back together, I find that my instrument cluster lights, dash lights, fog and tail light don't work...cd player works great though. No fuses are blown and no bulbs are blown. Could this be a relay gone bad or something?
Eagerly awaiting your responses,
Ryan

Try and see if you would be able to check the main wire that connects the under-the-hood fusebox. If you say no fuses are blown then there should definitely be a tear or something not keeping the wire pure.

There are no relays that affect the items you mentioned. Check the fuses again.
Under-dash fuse box: No. 1 fuse (10A) protects the circuits for the guage assembly, back-up lights, clock, VSS, integrated control unit.
Under-hood fuse box: No. 32 (15A) which protects the dashlights, tail-lights, etc. via the combination light switch.
Also, re-check your wiring and connections.
