There is a slotted screw on top of the throttle body that you can turn in and out to adjust your idle.

Back out the screw on the throttle body a couple of turns and it should stay running.
Make sure you only do it after the engine gets to normal temp.

Start at the intake manifold where they all come off the end. They all start there.

i have a 91 accord with f22a4. I found the wiring plug to unplug but when i went over to the other side i didn't find that slotted screw to adjust. There is a hole with some sort of plug in it. Maybe i have to dig the plug out or something. anyone know about this? thanks

ya its on the TB above the intake inlet,, you might have a grey looking film over it. kinda like what a watch has on it.. to protect the glass. just get the scewdriver and scrape it out
now for me? i turned the screw this way and that. and nothign. i had no effect? whys that?

thats the way mine is, makes no difference moving the screw. I can take it all the way out and it does'nt do much.

Re: Idle adjust info - Adjustment idling low IAC air control (niedejb)
What year is your car? Will this work the same as on a 1991 Honda Accord EX ?
I would like to adjust my idle up to if it's as easy as you describe... Also what sould the idle be set at ? Do I do it in gear or in park? It idles around 500 RPM ... I would like it up around 800 to avoid the vibration that comes with the low idle speed.
Thanks,
Branden

Its a 97. Not sure about the 91.
I'd do it in park so you dont have to chase it around the block.
The target idle is up to you mine saays 550rpm with no load.
