The PH16 thread pitch is a standard 3/4"-16 and the recommended PH3593A is a metric 20mm x 1.5. May not screw on quite right.

Filter should only be ~$3.79 plus tax.

If nothing else see if you can "swap" the PH16 for the correct one - the store may give you credit for PH16 and then you pay the difference, if any, for the correct one?

Then I've found Pennzoil Plat Synthetic on sale for $3.99 a quart.

IMO I would not buy any oil filter from Autozone unless it's a Mobil 1 (and that is my last resort).

Go to Wal-Mart and get a Purolator. Should be Part No. L14459. 3 buxs and some change.

Personally, I use Wix or Napa Gold and Purolator would be my 3rd choice.

Last week at the auto parts store the had the oil I normally use $26 a jug on sale for $17. I thought "score" I went there for oil anyway. I grabbed a FRAM filter and when I went to pay for it, they pulled out a coupon from FRAM that gave me the filter for free because of the brand of oil I was using... Damn, that was fantastic as the filter up here in Canada is $8

Check on line, FRAM mat have that coupon available for print and as we in Canada usually get very little from manufactures compared to our MIRV ours south of the border. I would be very surprised if this wasn't being offered down south. If I recall, the coupon was dated for expiry on the 13th.
