"Wheelbase width difference between stock and ROH/5 lug swap with itr/nsx/legend caliper upgrade?"
Hey, What's up everyone. I have been reading thread after thread on all these brake up grades for accords particularly the itr/nsx/legend caliper upgrades from and was wondering if, any one could help with this question.
"If I were to do a ROH/5 lug/caliper swap on a 97 ACCORD EX 4CYL/ CD5, would the wheelbase width change? In relation to the rear of the car I'm concerned the distance between the wheel mounting surfaces might change. If someone with a ROH or 5 lug conversion could measure the distance between the wheel mounting surface (rotor hats) I could then compare it to the distance of the stock setup."
I want to say thanks to TouringAccord for helping me out with the Specifics on this question> Alright now lets...here it....

Are you asking about the track width? The wheelbase shouldn't change as the rack/front suspesion stays in the same place, but the track width might change by a few millimeters, but not much.

Yes, that would be the appropriate term how much would the track change in the front. Would it be enough to where I would need to compensate the rear track by using a spacer? I noticed you said maybe a few millimeters....

Yeah, shouldn't be major. If the change is noticable enough, you might get away with running those 5mmm or 8mm wheel spacers.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. But if you do run into problems, please let us know.
