Im going to be doing a h22 head swap onto a f23a4 block and i couldnt find any where that sells "honda bond" to plug up the un used oil drain holes. Im wondering what would be equal in quality as honda bond.

My honda dealer sells honda bond. Initially, the parts counter guy said the techs have that stuff but they don't sel it over the counter. Then I asked him to check his computer and it turned out they did sell it. So be a little more persistent at the dealer parts counter.

I've also heard that permatex grey is similar. Probably any non-hardening rtv silicone would be OK.

In Canada it's sold as Ultra Flange. Ordered some when we ran out at work (dealer) and Honda sent us permatex "the right stuff" grey. Guess they ran out too! Haven't had any problems with it.
