From one day to the next my battery went dead (since covered under DieHard battery warranty).

Lights would work, windows, pretty much everything electrical except no crank.

The tech showed me the ticket and the dead battery had 42cca available lol. The alternator test showed fine as well.


works great now. so from what you state, either the battery or that gear shift solenoid/thingy

If the engine cranks when you jump a cable from battery to starter,
1. Check the Starter Cut Relay in the Driver's Underdash Fuse/Relay box.
2. Check if the AT gear position switch works. The GRY and RED/WHT wires should be connected when the AT is at P or N position.
3. Check the AT gear position switch ground (G110).

Hey im having same problem but no engine check light on it goes off like normal last week when id rev my accord you cud hear clanging wen the revs were goin down an was no power really it would only go 90mph blown cat I was told now other day my m8 started it an wud rev to 3rpm an was spluttery an if u take foot off it wud die out now it won't start any ideas please
