Re: Help (se7enofseven)
Some wiring problem that gives the coil or ignitor too much electrical load? I don't have a wiring drawing for '91, so it's hard to guess what to look for. Got a multi-meter?

I don't have a '91 Accord so I can't tell you what pin # or wire color.
Unplug it from the ECU, unplug the other end from the distributor. Use a multi-meter to measure resistance from one end to ground. Make sure that wire has NO continuity to ground. Then connect one end to ground, & go to the other end & make sure it HAS continuity to ground. First part checks for a short, 2nd part checks for an open.
You can make the same kind of check on that last bit of that wire, from the distributor plug into the actual ignitor.

Re: (se7enofseven)
Why do you say it's the VSS? There's plenty of other things that can cause the flashing "S" light.
I suggested checking the ECU-ignitor circuit since you said it was repeated distributor problems. But some of the other parts of your problem sound like it could be the main relay or ignition switch.
Sounds like you need some help from someone who's more comfortable with electrical checks. Not trying to **** you off, but it just sounds like you're not really sure of yourself with wiring stuff. It's a lot easier for someone to show you the basics in person vs. trying to describe it in a forum like this.
