help
okay today i was cleaning the car and i noticed fluid leakin... i looked under the driver side fender.. and the black plastic shield i see a tube with oil leaking... i examine and it looks like power steering fluid and not washer fluid..
then i look on the right side of the car i see oil coming out the boot of the rack an pinion and it leads to the tierod..
so what hooks up to the power steering container? whats makin the power steering container leak? so i'm better off gettin new power steering pump, rack an pinion and tierods? let me know..
do the rack pinion go from one tierod to the outter tierod that bolts to the wheel? or what...
i regret buying a car with a bad suspension and steering

Re: help (soon2bdropped)
sounds like the p/s rack is leaking ..get a maval p/s rack i have installed a bunch and have never had to warranty 1 yet ,, it is reman and will cost anywhere from 150 to 250 it comes with inner tie rods, new boots, you have to reuse the outer tie rod ends and then car needs to be aligned ..you dont need to buy a new pump they can be overhauled call dealer and get seals and gaskets needed to do the job but unless pump is leaking you dont have to overhaul it ,,,make sure you get honda p/s fluid..
and no a leaking rack will not make an axle or lower ball joint wear out faster
