i have a 1991 honda accord ex that dont blow hot air when park at idle only when driving ill blow hot air, I've change the thermostat and add antifreeze and bleed the air out. any ideas or answers will be appreciated

Engine temp on the gauge normal?

You changed the thermostat. The coolant levels are topped up and system is free of air. I would suspect a blockage in the heater core next. I'd try to flush it out with water pressure first before considering replacing it.

Thermostat, low coolant levels and plugged heater cores are the big 3 when it comes to not blowing heat.

engine temp is normal ill flush out the antifreeze and clean it out with water as u mention and top it off again with new antifreeze before i need to remove the heater core its no fun :}

first check and see if the heater valve is opening and closing when you turn the ****...if not, open it up by by pushing it towards the firewall and see if you get heat...if not then see if the hose closest to the passenger side is getting hot...if not then you can try to backflush the system...however I gotta think when these things get clogged they might be leaking already which means you should just replace it since the ethylene glycol in coolant is really toxic and the fumes are not good to be breathed in

the heater valve ur mention it got removed by the previous owner its direct so its missing the valve. but i friend told me that even thought the heater valve is ,missing the heater should still work. because it those work only when the car is being driven,and theres a little wire that turn s that heater valve ur mention as i turn the **** for heat but the heater valve is not there???

sounds like thermostat might be bad and stuck open...take a pic of the temp gauge when warmed up...and did u check the temp of both hoses ?

both hoses are inflated and warm temperature reads below halve of the gauge which is normal i believe those it matter if the heater valve is missing and its a direct hose?

is it really too muchto ask to check and see if both hoses are hot ?

both hoses are warm i cleaned both hoses i add new antifreeze bleed the air out and put a new thermostat and still nothing
