headers f22b2
i have a question that may end up sounding dumb but i figured i'd ask neway...will headers from an f22b2 non vtec fit on a f22b1 vtec? because i'm buying a 1994 accord lx and i was thinking i could use it as a parts car for my 1996 accord ex...would it work

Re: headers f22b2
If your talking an after market header then yes they are interchangeable.
Now if we are talking stock manifolds. The F22B2 manifold will bolt up to the B1 head but they will not fit the EX down pipe. The F22B2 is a 4-1 manifold with a single down pipe where the EX is a 4-2-1 tube style manifold with 2 down pipes. The F22B1 manifold is a better flowing 4-2-1 tri-y sort of design. The B2 is a 4-1 short dump manifold.

Re: headers f22b2
You may have to lengthen the wires for your primary O2 sensor. The F22B1 (EX) has both the primary and secondary O2 located under the engine. Where as the F22B2 primary O2 is up top, in one of the primary header tubes.

If you need to do it yourself it's not too overly complicated. All you are doing is adding an extra length of wire in between the O2 sensor and it's connector. you can do this in one of two ways, solder and butt connectors.
If you end up having to do it let me know and I can walk you through it. Or you could google how to splice wire. That might get you started.
