Default G22 Turbo build OR F22B1 Turbo???

Im asking the question for the sake of discussion and curiosity!!

I am in the middle of a very Important build. 94 accord EX coupe, and Im stuck on the choice of building a G22 with my stock F22B1 block and buyin a 98 H22a4 head or keeping my complete F22B1 engine..... Either way Im gonna go turbo when Its done!! And yes Im planning on building internals!!
For the cost, time, effort, reliability and of course performance Im not sure what to go with.. To many good choices and not enough personal experience with this topic. I also do not have nor want to spend 10k on this engine, but I do want it built properly and strong!!

Drag racer? Weekend car? DD?

How much power do you want? How fast do you wanna be?

As solo227 mentioned, it would be good to know your power goals. Frankly unless you are talking several hundred whp as your goal, staying SOHC will do you just fine.

The H-series head will flow more to be sure, but you can still make great power pretty easily with the stock head and save money.

Sounds like you want to look good go fast and have stupid power to pound the ground with but if you want a one off biult custom engine for turbo and a good complete turbo system and what about transmission and axles because they will not hold up in factory form your talking well over 10k !!!!!! but it would be sick as all hell!!!!!!! for cost you should stick with the single cam and turbo that you will be suprised what a mild build single cam can do its still a honda!!!

If you don't need VTEC or DOHC I say go with the F22B1 block and a PT3/F22A head, the best version would be the A6, for the cam. However if you want VTEC I say stick with the B1 head and get yourself a good cam. One that will work properly with your turbos boost maps and maybe raise the VTEC engagement a little bit
