Front right side main wiring harness

Front right side main wiring harness
Hi All. New to the site. I am fixing up a 1997 Honda Accord Ex 4dr 4 cyl for my 17 yr old son and having one last problem. None of the accessories running off the front right side main wiring harness work. No headlights, signal lights, horn, etc. I just replaced the harness from the connector block under the right side dash out. The previous one had been damaged in an accident. I checked right side light fuse under the hood and checked and confirmed power at the fuse when the light switch is turned on. I have wiring diagrams but I cant find G201. Could it be anything else other than this ground? Thanks!

Remove the inner fender and you should see the ground.
Being new you need to read the FAQs and forum rules. You also need to post all pertinent info, like what year and model.

Re: Front right side main wiring harness
Sorry guys about leaving the car info off...not too bright I admit. I attached the ground that is part of the harness to the frame below the lights. That location didn't correspond too well with the wiring diagram. If that is G201 and it checks ok, are there any other possibilities that would limit the problem to the right side?

Turn something on, like the headlights and check for power at that block (which I assume is either the fusebox or ECM/PCM) under the dash. If you're not getting power at the fusebox check fuses and if they're fine get a new fusebox. If you're not getting power at the ECM/PCM get new one. Get a new fusebox as salvage ones are usually toast too. Usually salvage ECM/PCM's are ok.
*Be very careful to only touch one terminal at a time when checking for power.
EDIT: If you have no wiring diagram, look at the wire color at the object of interest (headlight, horn, turn signal, etc.). Then find that wire color at that plug under the dash to determine which terminal to test for power

Re: Front right side main wiring harness
Thanks guys. Have all the lights and the cooling fan working. I'm going to post a new question about the horn. The horns work when connected straight to battery, fuse is good, have constant power at fuse block, switched relay with cigarette relay, both RC-2201, relay clicks when horn button depressed. What am i missing?
