FLOOD VEHICLE HELP!
I have a 2001 Accord EX Coupe V6. I just got it as a flood and I got another one that was hit to use for parts. its a 2002 accord EX coupe V6. On the flood Accord it ran but the transmission seemed like it slipped so we figured the trans went bad because of the flood and it needed to be replaced. We replaced the complete engine and trans from the parts accord to the flood accord. The trans is the same!! We then figured well it has to be the computer because two transmissions can't have the same problem. But the computer from the parts car won't let the flood car start. a key light, lighs up. Do you think its because it dosn't recognize the key? Should I take it to the dealer?
Also All these lights are on. TCS, ABS, SRS, Ck engine, and maitenance required. Obviously its because they got wet. I know where the ABS, Engine, and Airbag are located. My question is where is the TCS computer located, if it even has one. I'm switching them all from the parts honda. Oh, the parts honda has deployed airbags, is the airbag computer/sensor not good now since they were deployed?
thanks for any advice given.

In order to start the car with the new ECU, you need the key from the other car... That's the immobilizer doing its job...
And I'm no expert on SRS systems, but it does make sense that if the SRS unit deployed the airbags, it would remember that it did that and trip the light, even though the other car has intact airbags.. :shrugs:
