F23a1 help? anything im missing 4 these mods?
im not an idiot when it comes down to cars and mechanics but i cant say im really experienced.
ive got an f23 in my cl but i dont plan on keeping the cl too long..
the motor has 186xxx miles and startin to make a few funny sounds so i think its about time to rebuild it... any suggestions?
heres my list so far
ACL HP Rod Bearings $60
CP Pistons 85.25mm $150x4
ARP rod bolts $220
skunk2 stage3 cam $629
skunk2 valve springs $185
skunk2 Ti retainers $170
skunk2 adjustable cam gear $216
skunk2 1mm oversized valves $300

maybe some help with the pistons and rods choice?
also i want a gasket kit thats high performance (stronger head gasket, piston rings, and rod bearings.)
idk thats soo far what i have down. any chance i need to replace the water pump or radiator?
ohh yea im tryin to make a g23 out of it so the head isnt limited on aftermarket parts. how strong is the tranny nd how much torque do you guys estimate i can pull outta this?
i plan on swapping the motor into a coupe accord later...
i wanna know what my choices are for the ECU. i wanna be able to see all my levels and be able to adjust certain things... sumthin like a standalone Ecu?
i want sum suggestions and help not any ppl that just talk out their *** about how much f23's and acura cl's are crappy

where did you decide that each of those parts is good for a build? just curious.
the pistons you're listing are too small for the F23 block. it's hard to find off the shelf pistons for these blocks.
you say you're not an idiot when it comes to cars... how are you when it comes to math and spending/saving money? because if you're pricing is accurate you're dumping $8,000+ into a motor and car you say you won't be keeping for long.
...and that doesn't include regular service/rebuild stuff like plugs, wires, seals, gaskets, timing belt, water pump... or any tuning to get this to run.
if you're serious, prove it. if not, i won't waste any more time.

im not really interested in the nos but yea i got money to blow into an ENGINE that im keeping. and i got the tuner waiting on me to get my parts together. and i dont care about spark plugs timing belts fluids or none of that cheap shyt thats just a joke to me im just worried about the parts that cost over 300-400. you talk like you know me homie smoknn blunts in the fast lane all day burnin gas.

ohh yea... i got 4 geez cash saved up for this build and if i need more im not afraid to make a lil more money wtf? think why would i waste my time wit this
