Have you ever replaced the EGR ? Do you have any mods/engine swaps? Records of routine maintenance that has been done recently? That info could be more helpful in the long run.
Check for a vacuum leak. when you pop the hood with the engine running can you hear a hiss from anywere other than the end of the intake? Could be that your throttle cable or throttle valve (butterfly) is gummed up and not able to close all the way. Are you handy with fix'n things? This could be as simple as checking your throttle cable ensuring that it is free from dirt and able to rotate and slid properly. If that's not it try removing the intake tube from your throttle body and give it a few good shots of carb/throttle body cleaner while your car is running. This will clean out some of the gunk (carbon & oil - tar like substance that gets built up around the throttle plate/butterfly.
