Depends on what damage was done to the car.
If the rear beam is being replaced because it is rusted, and only the rear beam is being replaced, you may be able to get away with simply replacing it.
But if the rear beam and suspension components were damaged in an accident you will need to verify that the wheels are still true. Otherwise the car may be dog walking down the road.
