Looks good, looks like there is alot of trash in it though. I never understood why some people have a stand/work station in the booth that is supposed to be free of debris. Stuff like that makes for a dirty paintjob. Especially being at a school, they should have it alittle better than that. Overspray like crazy in the engine bay.

A booth is only supposed to have a car in it. No trashcans or anything that will contaminate the paintjob. When I painted in class I would sweep the floors, blow the entire booth out from top to bottom and then mop it. We even had a brandnew 140K bowndraft system. If you want a clean paintjob you have to do that. Not knocking on your paintjob b/c it looks good for a first timer but next time take all the crap out of the booth and clean it good and you will be suprised how well the next car comes out.

i guess you should also consider the shop being 35+ years at the school with slight improvements to the booth, i don't know what filteration we have but it "sucks" hard and we have have some descent filters
i am not trying to argue with you, i agree that with you 100+ % about how clean a booth should be
i just wanted to state the reason and didn't want to dis on my auto shop b/c how it operated
on the other note i will post pics as soon i out the car back together and the paint guns are the instructor's personal paint gun, i don't know what brand but he loves it .we use two guns , one for primer and sealer and the other color and clear

Not trying to kill ya boner but in the future wet down your floor and walls before you paint. Do not wet the ceiling. This will give the dust in the room something to stick to so its not blowing around and sticking in the paint as I see in the pics. And the mask job is lacking some. Has to be overspray in the engine bay. You even need to mask the underside of the bay off to prevent this from taking place.
See all this crap on the ground? Now imagine the billions of particles floating around in the air and landing in the nice sticky paint. Make sure there are no ledges in your masking paper that can hold dust and dried overspray. You always want to keep your masking paper tight.
There is always next time....lets see some before pics, just so we know you made it better and not worse...lol
Take care.
