difference between primary and secondary sensor
I bottomed out my 95 ex and broke the secondary o2 sensor by the cat. I obtained a primary sensor (by the manifild) but the plug is different. Honda and Autozone want close to $300 for the secondary sensor which is more than I can afford. Autozone sells a Bosch universal one that has to be wired up for $69. I believe there is a difference in ohms between the primary and secondary sensor, is this true? Can I solder the primary sensor I have now to the secondary plug???

Re: (v4lu3s)
hmmm...autozone and some otehr parts store ask which sensor I needed, the one before or after cat... err ? The sensor I have next to me was pulled from the manifold of a f23 I believe.

"a 95 accord doesnt ahve 2 o2 sensors. there is one only and it is by the cat."
depends on the trim because my lx has its o2 sensor up near the exhaust manifold

Re: (yldstyleviet)
you have an OBD1 F22B1......there is one 02 sensor, and its located before the cat (OBD1 f22B2's is located somewhere on the manifold, i believe on wone of the primaries)......im assuming thats the sensor your talking about.......o2's can be expensive......if you talk to your honda dealer right, they may cut you a deal (lots of weird emission regulation warranties on accords, depending on how many miles)

hmm..talk to them right? lol how?
I have a f23 sensor next to me now. It's obd2 so it's not gonna work with my obd1. I hear mixed things about Bosch universal sensor so i'll probably call a junkyard Monday.
