Re: Supercharged H22a
are you using arp headbolts or new oem bolts? i used the molylube with the arp headbolts and went to 90 ft lbs after starting with 30 the going to 60 then 90... as far as oem goes
u do it in three stages but this is what autodata says:
30 ft lbs
50 ft lbs
75ft lbs last go round
if youre using the oem bolts over again, you might break them so id recommend against that.

Re: Supercharged H22a
What does this have to do with a S/C H22A? Has to be another Canadian question... j/k
Using clean 5w30 engine oil to lubricate the bolt threads and under the bolt head. H22A OEM tq numbers are as follows;
Step 1 - 29 lb-ft
Step 2 - 51 lb-ft
Step 3 - 72 lb-ft
P.S. I've never had any second use OEM bolts break on me yet. :knocks-on-wood:
Note: If they are lubricated and make any sort of noise while tq'n them down. Loosen the bolt, re-lubricate and start back at step 1. Noise = binding = improper tq wrench readings.
