Default Fuel + Spark + Compression = Nothing in Cyl #2?

Had to start a new thread for this issue. A little backstory on the problem can be found here ---> https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/injector-issue-2518515/

READ THE ABOVE BEFORE YOU READ THIS POST!!!

So this morning I go out and re-adjust the valve lash. Everything set to specs. Go to fire it up.... still missing Cylinder 2. Do a compression test.... 152 in #4 and 160 in the rest.

WTF!?!? Spark + Fuel + Compression = A working cylinder... right!?!

ANY insight at all would be awesome. P_Adams, shed some light for me

Would a clogged/dirty fuel filter cause a single cylinder to misfire? Only other thing I can think might be off is my valve adjustment, first attempt at it, but I checked, re-checked, then checked again all 16 valves.

ECU maybe?

Maybe valve adjustment might affect it, but how is the rod/ piston and rings in that cylinder?? Any signs of ware in that cylinder around the edges??

Have you tested the fuel injector to make sure it's really opening? Have an aftermarket alarm with fuel cut?

Thanks for the insight fellas. But I was out playing around with anything I could think of and moved some plug wires around. #1 Cylinder stopped firing and #2 was fine. Set of plug wires later and she's running like new. The old problem of stuttering before VTEC has disappeared as well, that was what originally led me to believe it was a fuel issue. I was seriously relieved to find that it was nothing major.
