It means your tranny computer is throwing an error code. I'm not sure what's the procedure for reading codes on a '94, maybe there's a plug for you to jumper forward of the shift console?

i think you got the same problem that i had . it happened to me yesterday . did your speedometer also dropped to zero ? if it did i am guessing it is your speed sensor on the tranny . but you can try to pull the code yourself just to make sure .

yeaa . i am guessing you have a bad speed sensor and might have to replace it . but if you want to check what kind of error code you have anyway . there are two harnesses right under your glove box . it should be blue on the accord . take out the two terminal harness and use like a jumper wire or paper clip and connect it to both of the terminals . turn your ignition to on and check the engine light on the dash to see how many times it blinks . the long blinks are the first digit and the short blinks are the last digit . e.g. 1 long blink , pause , then 7 short blinks . then the code should be 17 (speed sensor) . hope this helps .

the sensor should not be hard to replace . all you have to do is remove the electrical connector from the sensor . there should be two retainging screws on the sensor . just remove the screws and take out the sensor from the tranny . the only difficulty i had was that the sensor was in a tight location . just remove your intake to make it easier to get to . but other than that it should be no problem . hope that helps .
