Coolant leaking onto ground like half a cup then stops. 92 EX rad problems help
ok just went and looked at my car and theres coolant leaking and it appears to be from the middle of the bottom of the rad... theres coolant on the edge of the rad a little bit.
what could be causing this? I heard sometimes theres a loose bolt at the bottom that needs to be tightened?
The thing is it leaked a little bit of coolant one night then stopped, but i took it to a shop and they said they couldn't see anything wrong.
but tonight theres more coolant, but it has stopped again.... however the coolant tank looks like its near empty ...
any common rad problems with 92 EX's ?

Try replacing the wing nut at the bottom and see if that helps. It is where you drain the coolant from.

yeah i tried that but no luck, i just discovered im going to need a new rad, its got a crack in it
