You could start by going around under the hood amnd making sure that all the connectors, like snap connectors, are tight, especially in the ignition system.

I'm not even going to read that...
Don't use all caps (stated in the ToS).
Make complete sentences so it's easier to read.
Make a better thread title thats descriptive of your problem.

I decided NOT to flame,and slam you for posting in CAPS; instead I put together some info for you.
The link below has some info from Service News bulletins and some diagnostic info;

Re: SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE (99Ej8===D)
I was checking things out since we're not getting very good MPG in our 01 accord LX L4 a/t - it averages 23-24 mpg city and 25-26 hwy... while i get 22-23 city and 24-25 hwy in my 98 v6 camry 5spd... which is supercharged! not bragging, just using it as a comparison point.
anyway, i pulled the dist cap (only 2-3 months old) to inspect the coil. apparently i didn't pay attention to which side the "spark shield" was installed on the coil, and just put it back in any which way - which happened to be the wrong way. MIL came on 2 drive cycles later, code P1381, and the computer lowered the rev limiter from redline down to 3000. made it feel like the auto trans was slamming into gears at times, or not shifting at all, and having a big reduction in power. I'd never heard of a CYP sensor before (cylinder position?? the cylinders don't move!), but I had heard of a distributor pickup coil. apparently the same thing.
After reading here, I flipped the shield back over to the inside of the coil (yes, it does fit both ways), cleared the code, and all seems to be well! Thanks for your great posts, guys! I've read plenty of stuff on here before thanks to links from PatrickGSR94 - I've known him since before he got his teg. If it hadn't been for him telling me about this site and then me seeing how thorough you folks are, it probably would have taken me a lot longer looking on google and trying to filter out all the ricer junk to find an actual solution. Instead i came straight here and found the answer in just a few minutes. Thanks again folks!
