A/C Compressor not cycling off?
A/C Compressor stays constantly running--is not cycling on and off. Only blows warm air.
I bought of can of R134a to recharge--it would only take a little in, but the gauge shows almost zero pressure on the low side.
I have no gauge on the high pressure side, but when i press the valve it lets out a lot of R134A.
So I have little pressure on the low side and high pressure on the high side, compressor not cycling off and only warm air.
Sounds like a clog in the system? Is there some filter?
92 Accord 190K miles. Thanks!

Re: A/C Compressor not cycling off?
If your compressor is constantly running then you have a sufficient amount of refrigerant pressure. Make sure that the hot/cold switch is on full cold (verify by checking your valve where coolant runs into the firewall) the cable tends to slip from the holder (underneath the dash). thereby allow hot water into your heater core so your air flow is blowing through the heater core and evaporator. in turn your cabin temperature never reaching your desire temp and compressor will run continuously.
