brake line bleeding 96 accord antilock brakes
I have to replace my brake lines- has antilock brakes. What am I in for? Any special procedure for the ABS system. Have bled many brakes but never antilock. Thanks

This should answer how to bleed ABS https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...&highlight=ABS
I'm not sure if you have to bleed the ABS system, but might as well do it.

Shouldn't need to, however seeing that thread leads me to ask this question.
Would ABS see more benefits switching it to ATE Super Blue DOT4 fluid along with the other braking system (lines and MC) ?
When I swapped my MC I tossed on the Super Blue and bled all the brakes til the blue ran through - but I'm not wondering if I can get better performance from doing the same for the ABS.

as long as you don't mess with the ABS unit itself like turn it upside down ,open the bleeder on it you should be fine. just treat it like normal non ABS brakes and bleed the system like any car!
