Default brake fluid leak and wierd whisle

I was out of town for a month and when I returned I took a quick look under my hood and found that my brake fluid resevior was low. I made a mental note of it and went on my merry way. Well, about a week later my brake light came on and I instantly knew what it was. I topped it off and put it in the back of my mind. Its been a week and I checked the level again only to find that the level has gone from max to min. I have checked where I park at home and at work and found nothing. I check in the morning after my car has been sitting all night and yet again, nothing. Could I have a leak that only leaks when the brakes are in use?

Second question. For the last few days I have noticed a whisling sound when I accellerate hard. It doesn't do it all the time. It sounds like a vaccume leak of some sorts. What all could that be?

I have a 97 accord se with 85k miles. I've owned it for over two years and 40k miles and never had a problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

do you have brake pressure(are they working properly?) or is it just leaking with no consequence?

do you have an intake? can you explain the whistling a little better like location, pitch, etc.?

brakes are working fine. I actually tested my 60-0 after I filled up the resevior and its the same as what it was several months ago when I didn't have the problem.

The whistle starts as a low whistle and gets higher as my rpms increase. I do not have an intake. It sounds like its coming from the dash actually. From the middle to passenger side. My a/c could be on, off, vent open, closed.

EDIT: I just check the inside of my wheels and noticed drip marks on the drivers side front. Stuck my hand in and it was a mixture of liquid and brake dust. I may have tracked that one down.

do you have a long pedal, meaning when you push the brake pedal does it go all the way to the floor?

yeah that just sounds like air is catching somewhere like a vent or windshield molding

Nope, no long pedal. I took my wheel off and and my friend start my car and push the brake pedal back and forth while I watched. I could see the fluid leak from the line right before it connects to the caliper. I tried to tighten that and it barely moved. I put everything back together and had him try it again while I watched and I didn't see a drop. I doubt that fixed it but at least I know where its coming from.

I have no idea about the whistling though. It only happens sometimes and I don't notice any performance issues so its probably nothing.
