clicking sound
my brother has a 1996 honda accord ex with a 6cyl engine.it has aproximently 250000,it has recently had a clicking sound in the engine.once the engine has been running for a while the clicking stops.it has no mods and only new plug wires and plugs.so some1 plz help me.

Hydraulic lifters? Run some mobile one 0w20 oil in it to see if it will clean and relube the sticking lifters. works well in the Passports that get noisey.

you need a valve adjustment. also its not uncommon on new cars. trucks also click like crazy with the lifters.
also could be oil hasn't got up to the valve train yet. i run 5-30 and the noise goes away after a minute of car warm up.
