Ok so, i have an idea of running Pennzoil yellow bottle to clean out the engine for this oil change(i heard it has a cleaning agent in it?). After wards ima put in Valvoline maxlife in, since that seems to be the general opinion

They all have cleaning agents in them, the question of how many and what kind is the main difference between (conventional) oils.

Myself I preferred Castrol (for conventional) but I don't have so much experience that my opinion is any better than anyone else's; right now I'm running mobil1 and after 3 changes for the first time my oil on my disptick was almost as clean as the oil I just put in the top (changed it yesterday). That was the main reason I switched to mobil1: my mechanic said after he ran it for a while when he opened his engine up it looked as clean as a brand new engine.

I use Valvoline maxlife 10W40. Consuption is +/- 0,5l/7500miles
Accord 92 2,2 with 138XXX miles
