Need advice on what could be causing battery light to stay after replacing the alternator, belt, and battery? The funny thing is that I turn on air and the light shuts off....i have checked cables, fuses, ground wires...it only started after I replaced the alternator...was working fine until then...dumbfounded and frustrated with this issue already...ur input would be appreciated

Did you get the alternator tested? it might be a bad unit or maybe the battery messed up like didn't have enough acid but if it was right after the alternator was replaced its either the unit itself or connection.

Youre 100% sure it is correct alternator? Did you look up the part no onilne? Autozone will give you the wrong parts sometimes

I think thats my next option now, will take it back to autozone and have them test it then. Could it be maybe the belt too tight and causing some type of issues for battery light to come on?
