Default axle nut help ASAP please!

I have tried everything to get my axle nut off, I broke 2 1/2 in rachets and a breaker bar. I even took the impact gun to it and it wont budge. I took the torch and wd40 to it. Nothing is working......

Get a nice chisel and big hammer, hit it couple times straight to create a sorta deep cut, then hit it on an angle to loosen, good solid hits. that's how i got mine out not even a month ago. which I'd already stripped from trying so many things.

You need PB BLASTER, WD40 won't even touch these things. Make sure the nut is unstaked (piece of the nut smashed into the dimple in the axle itself) You need to cake the nut in PB blaster about every three hours for about a day. Get a craftsman 1/2" breaker bar and a massive *** pipe. I used my actual cheater bar that my neighbor gave me for mine, it holds the end of the wrench in place while giving maximum leverage. Then it should come off, that's what I did when I did my 5spd conversion about a month ago.

I used a 4ft long steel scaffolding pipe over a wrench for mine.... get as much leverage as you can and make sure someone is inside with the engine running and their foot on the brakes, because with enough force on it the handbrake won't stop it moving forward.

I used a 4 foot black pipe over my breaker bar and my brother and I both bounced on it (about 330lbs between the two of us) and it broke free.

Jdowen2 made a good point, bouncing on it is a good idea. Sudden/shock impacts are best for loosening it rather than constantly pulling on it...

I can say all of that will work but I had that same problem. I tried a lot of things and broke some things. My advice to you is to get it to a shop with like a 60 gallon compressor tank for example and have them loosen it. The at home 15 gallon wont do it. Thats probably gonna be your only exit.

You need to hit it with a torch for a minute or so then use the breaker bar or impact wrench.

Can't even can't how many 1/2in breaker bars I've broken trying to get these loose (thank god for lifetime warranty lol) Then I went to harbor freight and bought a 3/4in set http://www.harborfreight.com/20-piec...-set-5494.html
but if your on a budget just get this http://www.harborfreight.com/3-4-qua...bar-98270.html

Normally the trick to getting these nuts off..assuming you have unstaked the nut...is to put a jack under the axle socket and jack it up until it's flush on the socket so that it doesn't move down. Then put a breaker bar so that it's tilted to the 9 o'clock position. Then put a piece of pipe around the breaker bar. Then get on the pipe and bounce on it. It's critical that the jack is under the socket so that the socket doesn't move at all when you bounce on it. This the way I got mine off the very first time I had to take my axle nut off and my oem axles had never been replaced. You want to be able to get as much force on that axle socket without it moving a micrometer down and this is possible with a jack holding it up.

Also, if you have a steering "club"..the ones you use to lock your steering wheel.. you can actually use it to hold the brakes by putting it down at the at the pedal and against the piece just in front of the seat and locking it. This you can use if you don't have another person to hold the brakes for you so the axle doesn't move.

PB Blaster is your friend. You could also try to put the socket on the axle nut and smack it with a BFH to shock the nut before trying to loosen it.
