99 Honda Accord - Intermittent Grinding Noise from Front Passenger Side
I have a 1999 Honda Accord. It has been making an intermittent grinding noise in the front passenger side (wheel area). Usually it starts making a noise after a few minutes of driving then I can start to feel it through the gas pedal. At this point when I apply the brake the grinding noise gets worse but noise is only coming from front passenger area. (this only happens on the highway) Then it will go away either after a few minutes time, or if i bring the car to a complete stop, then go again. I took it on a 4 hour trip last weekend. It did it once on the way up and once on the way back. Other than that it was fine.
I checked the front brakes and they look fine. I also changed the brake pads with no change. I was thinking maybe it is either a sticky brake caliper or bad bearings.
Any advice to help diagnose?
Thanks in advance!
