99 Accord wiring question
I removed the trunk light bulb under the trunk side of the package shelf so I could air out the trunk.
Before I closed the lid I pluged the bulb back in and it did not light. I closed the trunk and than opened it and the light came on. I tried this several times and it worked the same every time. I found two wires and a switch at the trunk latch and wonder if this is what turns the light on and off or is that switch to turn the open trunk light on the dash on? If that is not the switch for the light where is it? Also why doesn't the light come on when I put the bulb back in?

I bet there's a timer. Open the trunk & leave the light on. After a while (15 minutes???) it turns off so you don't drain your battery overnite. When you close the trunk the timer resets itself.

Re: 99 Accord wiring question (georgeda)
I tried it this morning and left it open for 30 minutes and the light did not go off.
Can anyone tell me where the switch is?

It's part of the latch.
