H23 ECU for Honda Accord
I just wondering if an H22A4 will work for an H23 vtec manual swap
or what ecu would is preferred I saw that a 6 gen h22 swap ecu is an
96 h22a ecu (well that what it said in swap info)
and I saw H23 vtec is basically same swap as H22
Thanks in Advance

If I remember correctly. I think what you are looking for is ether a 96 P13 ECU, only OBD2 USDM H22A4 ECU without the immobilizer. Or you will need to reprogram the immobilizer chip in any of the 97+ H22 VTEC ECUs.

Re: H23 ECU for Honda Accord
It is a component on the ECU. It is a security feature that matches a your key to the ignition system and ECU. The immobilizer will not allow you to start the car unless it receives the proper signal from the ignition and matching key.
Put it bluntly, it immobilizes your car.
