I have a 1998 Accord EX V6 Coupe, about 175k miles.

Car sat for a couple of months while on vacation, came back and it would not start. Bought new battery, still no crank, no clicks.

Thinking could be starter, but never known them to just go out, usually they let you know they're going out by intermittently working. Never had an issue with the starter.

When I try to start it, all lights come on as they should, and car does nothing; just noticed a random clicking sound coming from under the passenger floor area, and the instrument panel needles going berserk. NO ENGINE CHECK LIGHT

HELP???

Make sure your ground cable is clean and secure, often a poor ground will let things like lights and radios work but not something with the current draw of a starter
