Default 98 accord lx jerks

recently when i have been driving, when I am stopped at a red light, my car will jerk a little bit once, then a few red lights later, it will jerk consistently every 5-10 seconds....it's really annoying, but i'm not sure whether its coming from the transmission or somewhere else? I just had my tranny rebuilt, but does anyone have any idea? Im trying to sell this car so i wanna fix all these little problem.......?

When it jerks, do the RPMs bounce? If so, it may be misfiring.

I had a problem on my Chevrolet Cavalier, where the RPMs would fluctuate rapidly and the car would jerk back and forth when sitting at a stop light (low RPMs). It turned out to be a faulty fuel injector, which caused the engine to misfire, which caused the RPMs and the car to bounce and jerk.

is your trans auto, if so, it could be the torque converter clutch trying to lock up.. may be a sign of the solenoid going bad. my .02

any codes?

if no take it back to where you got the trans rebuilt and have them look at it, it should be under warranty. don't blame them, just ask if they think it might be it or something related to it.

That sucks, he mention on the first post that the trans was already rebuilt. If you did get it re-built and have this problem. I think you best go back to the place that re-built your motor and tell them what happen to your Accord.
