I was just wondering what parts i would need if any to make this swap successful. Some Technicians at honda said its pointless and that i should i buy a manual accord, but i dont have to the money to do this, so i was wondering what i will need and how much it will cost. Thanks

I've completed this swap on my owen car. Its not as straight forward as the older 94-97 accords. You will need all of the sam parts. But for a 98-02 accord as far as shift linkage, shifter, intermidiat shaft for drivers side, starter for manual tranny, manual tranny mount, clutch master and slave cyl's, clutch line, pedal assy for clutch pedal and brake pedal, and manual ECU. Your will also need to re-pin one wire on the ECU to get the speed sensor to work, the manual uses a different type then the auto trannys. Then its just easier to take the range control switch off of the auto tranny find nutral and splice the 3 wires together and leave the others connected to nothing. Then plug it into the big plug in the engine bay. This will let you start the car. I know I left out some details but this will give you a general idea of what your looking at.
Price wise your looking around: $900-1200 depending on parts and if you can do the swap your self. It will just go up from there.
