Default JVC CD changer CH-X1500RF wiring

I have a problem with install this CD changer. It comes with 1 CD changer <--> FM modulator. FM modulator comes out with 3 wires: black (ground), red (power)(with 3A fuse on-wire), and yellow (memory backup power)(with 3A fuse on-wire). I tried to connect to wiring harness first (already have black, red, yelllow). No power comes up from main unit. Then I tried to connect the red to left side fuse panel using a add-to-circuit fuse (with a red wire come out), and black to chassis, yellow (just leave there, don't know where it should go???). No power comes up either. I believe this refurbished unit is defective. Any idea to test if this unit works or not and how to wire correctly?

Thank you so much!!!
