97 accord wont start
I've got a 97 accord se. Yesterday it just quit starting. It'll start maybe once every twenty turn overs. Sometimes it'll click and sometimes it won't. I've changed the starter and same thing. I'm about to change the battery, dis cap and button and plugs to see if it makes a difference. So what do you think??

Re: 97 accord wont start (tao speaking)
Where this is a no crank/no start issue I would say battery
Check your battery & engine ground connections and make sure they are clean and tight. If that doesn't help, get the battery load tested before you go out and spend money on one. Those are a few things to check first then you can go from there once those check out Ok.

Re: 97 accord wont start (GhostAccord)
i would change the battery, and than have your alternator tested, maybe even just have your battery charged and see if its still good, a dead battery doesnt always mean its shot

welp guys thanks for all the help. I'd changed the battery after i posted and the car crunk right up. Weird cause i had no problem with lights or any power with the car. but then again i had this car four years now and just been driving it. hadn't had to change anything but oil and plugs. thanks again
