Default 97' Accord LX Front End Noise?

The people who mounted my tires previously mounted them incorrectly. The result was a snapped stud and lug on my hub assembly (on both the passenger and driver side, front). I had my mechanic replace my hub bearing and replace those studs. (He did so by hammering a chisel between my rotor and the hub which I think caused damage to my cv joint). Anyways, now my car is making this clicky, thumpy, tappy noise, when i coast. Its becoming more pronounced on the left front side of the vehicle. I am not sure if this is in relation to the repair or just a coincidence? Does it sound like a hub bearing issue, or as I was reading a sway bar end link problem?
I don't want to be throwing hundreds at replacing the cv joints, struts, springs, etc.

If he chiseled out your hubs against the brake rotors, it's a safe bet he trashed them. I wouldn't go back to the guy personally.
