what all do i need to replcae when replcaing a timing belt? i have never done one my self and want to buy the parts and have a shop do the labor but do not know what else i should change while the timing belt is out? the car has about 195,000 miles on it and i bougfht it at 125,000 miles and never have had to change the timing belt or water pump.. what is the suggested maintence or replacement parts needed for a car with my milage? i have a 97 accord lx 5 spd.

There a kit available that contains most of the stuff.If I,m not mistaking those model were affected by TSB which tell to install a retainer clip for balancer shaft seal.It's like 5$.Change the 3 seals at the same time and make sure( when everything will be out ) the oil pump housing gasket isn't leaking.I always check ignition timing after doing a timing belt job and resetting the adaptive memory.
